AUBURN, WASH — Auburn Police arrested Cornell Haynes Jr. professionally known as ‘Nelly’ this morning after a woman on his tour bus called authorities claiming she was raped. Man, this doesn't look good. The story broke this morning to various news outlets. Sources, including TMZ started circulating information.
‘Nelly’ performed Friday night at the White River Amphitheatre.
Officers say ‘Nelly’ went to Seattle afterwards and the woman returned with him and called police about 3:45 a.m. alleging the assault occurred on his bus.
A police spokesperson says the bus was parked near the Walmart Supercenter on in the 700 block of Outlet Collection Way.
Officers say they had probable cause to arrest the rapper and he was booked into the SCORE jail in Des Moines for Rape 2nd Degree
Let's see how this all plays out but Social Media is about to be one fire. There are so many back stories and information starting to hit the public. In America, you are guilty until proven innocent and "RAPE" doesn't go away easy...It sticks with your name and credibility. Of course we hope this didn't happen for the sake of the potential victim. If it does turn out to be false, I hope his name is cleared.
