Ok, what’s your favorite Church Song? You know, the song that you remember playing or hearing the most growing up. Maybe your parents played it ALL THE TIME. Maybe you had to sing it at Church as a kid or as an adult. Maybe your Grandparents use to play or sing it. Well, I’ll go with THE CLARK SISTERS and their song “You Brought The Sunshine”. I really love this song.
MY VERDICT: Church Songs for Black People (in many cases Gospel Songs) is a spiritual and emotional connection. The right song is like Therapy that many Black People and people general gravitate to after a long week or during emotional times.

I'm not sure I've heard that song so I will have to youtube it. Some songs just stick with you for life! Thanks for responding an feel free to check out some of the other pages. T-Hanes!
My favorite is "For The Good Of Them" by Rev. Milton Brunson and the Thompson Community Singers. I have a whole plethora of gospel songs that help me get over things, get through tougher things and stand during seemingly impossible things but this one is my balm---maybe it is because of Kim McFarland's vocal runs and it was a test to sing along growing up---just crazy amazing to me even after all these years.
